Campsite Open is a campsite availability monitoring service that:
We monitor publicly available reservation data. We are not affiliated with California State Parks, Recreation.gov, or any campground operator.
Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
One account per person: You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
Account security: Notify us immediately at privacy@campsiteopen.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
Accuracy: We strive to provide timely and accurate campsite availability alerts. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of alerts. Campsite availability can change rapidly, and we are not responsible if a site is no longer available by the time you attempt to book.
No booking guarantee: The Service monitors availability and sends alerts. We do not make reservations on your behalf. You are responsible for completing any reservation through the official reservation system.
Notification channels: We send alerts via email and, with your consent, via iMessage or Telegram. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply for iMessage.
We make no guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be interrupted for:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice.
The Service offers different access tiers (roles) based on membership level. Role assignments, expiration periods, and associated alert limits are at our sole discretion and may be changed at any time.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that alerts will be delivered in real time, or that any particular campsite will be available when you attempt to book.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Campsite Open shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campsite Open and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
